REACHING GOOD SCORE

Bad score in the graduation exercise can be prevented if we follow some methods that have been given by our lecturers. First, our presence must be full. Besides presence is important for our score, we will mot miss learning from lecturer because every knowledge that they give for us is very useful to make easy when we are doing examination. The second is being active at class. We are not only present at class but we have to be active. When lecturer gives some questions, we try to answer them. We also must ask if we have not understood about subject that have been explained. Doing the assignment on time is the third method. We pay attention with due date to submit our assignment. We have to hand in our assignment on time to make us more discipline with time. Besides we have to hand in our assignment on time, we also have to do it by ourselves. Don't count on our assignment to our friends, we stand alone to finish it and dont cheat others. Next, every night after lecturer has explained, we get back to read and learn more the material. We will always remember the material if we do it routinely. The last is doing well in every quiz or examination. Preparing to make you success in examination is not only one night but have to be prepared for day from exam day. There can be not doubt that if we have followed that methods, we will get the maximal score.

Semarang has something interesting that always make me do not want to move from that city. First, Semarang has traditional event. Dugderan is the example of traditional event in Semarang. What is Dugderan? Dugderan is event that sign the fasting month will come. After it is held for a week, it is closed by Warag Ngendog. People are interested to follow this parade because they want to see it. The second something interesting is from it's food. Semarang has some special food, such as Lumpia, Bandeng Presto, Wingko Babat. Lumpia is kind of food which be made from young bamboo. Bandeng Presto is milkfish that be made without its thorn. Whereas, Wingko Babat is food which be made from coconut. The third, Semarang has national treasure which we can call on there. For example, there are Lawang Sewu and Tugu Muda. Lawang Sewu is a building estate from Holland. It is an old building, but it is still maintained until right now. Many people who call on there because it becomes a tour place. Whereas, Tugu Muda ia a reminding monument. It was built to remain incident Pertempuran 5 Hari di Semarang. We can see that many interesting thing in Semarang, those are that make me always love with Semarang.

Reducing of Drug Abuse

Drug is all of substance except food and water that if we put in the body can change the body function physically and psychologically (WHO 1982). Recently, drug is distributed in Indonesia. There were five millions people who use it in 2012. The users are not only from rich people, but also from middle and poor people. Based on the result research of BNN in 2003 about the users drug around student in Senior High School, there were 67% student who never tried drug, 27% student ever tried and 6% student still used it. It becomes a concern phenomena. If this negative phenomena is not been destroyed directly, it can damage young generation. There are some steps or strategies for reducing of drug abuse.

The first is parent have to give example of good personality for their children. Using drug is one kind of teenager mischief. BNN ever did a research for respondents of drug abuse, 3 from 10 respondents were still 15-18 years old. Parent must pay attention about it. Do you know the highest reason why student use drug? Based on BNN research in 2003, the highest reason of using drug is feeling curious. But it can happen because the condition of their family. Reasons why children use it because they want to forget the problem in their family. Parent should get along with their couple well to prevent depression for children. They also explain some negative effects of using drug. Besides, parent do not only give advice, but also they have to take action. For example, they ask to their children not to do smoking, so they (especially father) must give example.

The second strategy is programs from police. Police have to take action. They arrange some steps for reducing this problem. For example, police must do raid in some places, such us club,karaoke,boarding house and some other places that are guessed for using drug. The other example is police do cooperation with some schools to hold seminar of drug. It can be medium for sharing information about drug.

The last is from the government's policy. Government make program to eliminate drug abuse. They have to give punishment clearly for distributors and do strong commitment. Government ever did shot punishment for drug case and President Jokowi did not give grasi for them. It is a good strategy for damaging drug abuse.

In short those some strategies must be developed clearly to decrease of using drug. We have to cooperate to save our country from that devil things. Dont let drug damage our future.

SMARTPHONE

Smartphone is a mobile phone which is made with sophisticated technology. It contains many features and applications. Smarthphone is used by people to get knowledge, source of information, doing business, means study, education etc.

Playing smartphone is very entertaining for everyone. There are many benefits for using it. Although there are many benefit of using smartphone, we have to know that technology does not only bring positive impact but also bad impact.

The first bad impact is doing unimportant activities. With many features that smartphone have, it can make us over exist. We always update our latest activity although we are in busy.  We will do eating, sleeping, taking a bath, going, shopping etc, we never forget to update them. We also upload our new photo. Everytime and everywhere, we always take our images and then upload them. That activity can make us forget our job. 

The second is pornographt . Social media is a media that very useful to get more friend and knowledge, but sometimes many people are wrong in using it. Because of free of using social media in smartphone, so people also can access video porn freely. It can be bad watching for children. Watching video porn is the beginning of rape accident. All of parents let their children to use smartphone besides they also have to control what they are doing. 

The third is laziness. Using smartphone especially in social media can make everyone addicted. They waste more time in social media. They prefer play in social media than read book or doing assignments. Finally it can be bad result in their achievement in school. 

The next is radiation. We often play our smartphone and it is automatically we see the light that be radiated by screen of our smartphone. It is bad thing for our healthy. Smartphone has big radiation for users. The radiation can bother our sight, so we can get blurry vision on our sight. The bigger impact for our healthy is in our brain. Our brain can be damaged by the radiation. 

The last is disturbing our sleeping time. Sometimes we forget time when we are playing with our smartphone. Time that should be used take a rest, still be used to play with our lovely smartphone.

Most of people still use smartphone with not wisely. We may use it to improve our knowledge, but remember, we also have to give care for our healthy, our job and everyone around us.

We can see that there are many bad impact of using smartphone. We have to use smartphone wisely to get many benefits.

A.) A Personal Experience

My Busy Time

I was so busy because I followed some extracurricular and organization activities in my Senior High School (Topic Sentence). First, I dedicated myself in OSIS (MASS1). In that organization, I wasted much time because I was a leader in there (MISS 1). There were some events that had to be held every month or every year (MISS 1). Every Saturday, I held a meeting with my members to discuss un coming events (MISS 1). The second organization was Scout (MASS 2). Activities in Scout not only indoor but also outdoor (MISS 2). For example, if I pursued a degree in Scout, I had to follow camping outside of my school (MISS 2). It could be draining my energy and my time (MISS 2). Paskibraka was the next organization (MASS 3). Every year, I and force of Paskibraka always followed a prestigious race (MISS 3). We needed to exercise every Wednesday and Saturday to obtain a compact motion (MISS 3). Beside I participated in some organization, I still followed some extracurricular (MASS 4). I choseKIR (Scientific Work Teen) (MISS 4). I joined it because I was a science student (MISS 4). I wanted to make my self more understand with its subject (MISS 4). The other was KIR English Language (MASS 5). Although I was not a language student at my school, but I like English language so I chose to join with that extracurricular (MISS 5). The last extracurricular that I followed was KIR French (MASS 6). This was foreign language that I had ever not learned, so made me curious to study it (MISS 6). In short, I followed academic learning but I can still manage my time to contribute in some organization and extracurricular at my school (Conclusion Sentence).

B. Example

The Useful Music

Listening to music can make us feel better (Topic Sentence). Music can improve our mood (MASS 1). When we are alone and feel bored, we can play music to restore mood, so we don't feel alone again (MISS 1). People also use music to unify rhythm and movement in sport (MASS 2). For example in aerobic exercise (MISS 2). Using music in aerobic exercise can make people who do become more enthusiastic (MISS 2). Stress relievers also be made one of the reasons why people listen to music (MASS 3). Piles of job and some activities make us stress quickly (MISS 3). Next, music also can be used to increase the concentration of learning (MASS 4). Sometimes some people will be more receptive to learn something when in a relaxed state with listening to music (MISS 4). Listening to music that has lyric, it can be a motivation (MASS 5). An example is song from Westlife (You Rise Me Up) or the other song from Demi Lovato (Skyscraper) (MISS 5). From lyric that they have, we can get learning and can applicate in our life (MISS 5). Those example show that listening to music is a good choice when we are feeling bad with ourselves (Conclusion Sentence).

C.) Fact

The Devil Thing Called Drug

Many factors that cause people use drug (Topic Sentence). Feeling curious is reason that usually be used by users of drug (MASS 1). Something new can make us want to know more until trying to give it a try (MISS 1). It is not surprisingly if people use it (MISS 1). Besides feeling curious, just for fun is the other factor (MASS 2). The beginning reason before using drug is just for fun, but after we have tried little by little, it can be addicted thing that very hard to be break (MISS 2). Next, people use drug because to follow fashionable (MASS 3). An example is if people join with a gang that all of the members use drug, automatically its followers use drug too (MISS 3). It is impossible if there is person in their gang who don't follow the fashion of that group (MISS 3). It happens because someone can be accepted in a gang, they have to do the same habit (MISS 3). Moreover, escaping for a problem is the other reason (MASS 4). Sometimes when people are getting a case, they get confuse where they will lean on (MISS 4). Usually people will fall in to negative thing if we don't have strong creed (MISS 4). The last factor is we are not brave to say "No" when there is our friend who ask to do negative things especially using drug (MASS 5). We have to say "No" resolutely (MISS 5). Don't be influenced easily with someone's asking (MISS 5). There can be no doubt that we have to leave drug because it is very dangerous thing for our life (Conclusion Sentence).
